It provide participants with the skills, knowledge, and techniques to develop and provide site-specific, technical skill-level Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) training programs to the petroleum industry, utilities, research and development, laboratories, transportation, paper/pulp/food processing, chemical manufacturing and other companies with H2S at their facilities.

To maintain the Emergency First Response Instructor rating, individuals must renew their rating every two years by submitting a renewal application to Emergency First Response. By renewing, instructors agree to stay up-to-date with Emergency First Response course standards and implement any changes announced in The Responder.
